Congratulations to
Ruben Galsky who participated in Savantes New York in February. Ruben won a
Gold Medal and ‘Best in Class’, with his Oliperu Zumaq Picual and Gold with
Oliperu Zumaq Barnea in the Olive Oil Times organised New York International
Olive Oil Competition.
The Picual was the 12th highest scoring oil and the
Barnea 20th in the competition which claims over 700 entries. In Ruben’s own
words ‘I can say that I learned something in the Savantes New York’ and ‘I
chose what to send after the NY Savantes’. The Oliperu grove is in Ica in
southern Peru.
Well done Oliperu and thank you for the generous
acknowledgement of the role Savantes New York played in your win.
